Super Mario Cake - 011512
This Super Mario cake is for a boy who turned 9 years old. It's a small ( 6-inch 3 layers)cake made of chocolate with vanilla buttercream filling and crumbcoat. The cake is covered with marshmallow fondand decorated with Super Mario theme made of fondant. The figure of Super Mario stands 6 inches tall and is made of mixed fondant and gum paste. The mushrooms are fondant with gum paste. We used gum paste and add it to fondant when making figures to help in the drying process. We also use fondant stabilizers to make sure that the fondant behaves like gum paste.
