Captain America and Green Lantern Cake Pops

We made these cake pops a few months ago, but forgot to blog about them. These cake pops were sent to a boy who love Marvel super heroes.

We used colored candy melts to coat the round cake balls and we added fondant made from marshmallows for the decorations. The Captain America theme cake pops showed his shield with the red, white and blue color with a star at the center while the green lantern had the logo. We used black instead of green for the logo for deeper contrast. Next time, we will use a deeper shade of green, after all he is green lantern..
