Minnie Mouse Themed Cake - 12/16/11

A 3rd month birthday cake for baby Claire. This one was a lot of fun to make. The mom chose the design by sending us a photo she found on the Internet. We just put our spin on it, to make it more personal.

The 9-inch round cake consisted of 3 layers of dark chocolate with chocolate mousse filling covered in strawberry marshmallow fondant. All decorations are edible, except for what's beneath the Minnie Mouse hat, which is made of Styrofoam.

Happy 3rd month Claire.Can't wait to make your 4th month cake. :)
